Basic Arcane PVP: This is a heavy damage dealing build but has very little in survivability. It relies on POM and Pyroblast for swg credits an opening move and either arcane missiles or arcane blast for sustained DPS, or Scorch when you are being attacked. This will make you something of glass cannon so you should not attempt it without teammates to back you up.
Arcane Fire 2: This is the famous “three minute mage”. You will be relying on heavy hitting arcane spells for most of your damage and will open with POM/Pyroblast.
Most of your talents will therefore be in the arcane tree with just enough in the fire tree to get pyroblast. This is a dangerous build to use though because once you have use POM, you are pretty useless.
Arcane Ice: This build can deal massive amounts of damage, while still retaining a high level of survivability. Your main source of damage will be almost nothing but ice attacks. This build is more focuses on one on one fights and is best suited for battlegrounds, but is also a good arena build.
Deep Fire: It is very hard to PVP as a fire spec, but this gives you most of the tools necessary. Your main source of damage will be fire attacks, and you only put points into the arcane tree to get Improved Counter-spell and a few other good arcane talents.
